SMU will play Texas State in 2019 and 2020, a source tells me. Not 2018 or 2019 like originally reported.

I think it will be 2019 and 2021 otherwise TXST will have 3 G5 games in 2018 and/or 2020

With 11 other FBS schools in TX you would tend to think it was an easy get for us but it's just the opposite. No respect. We'll have to earn it.

some in state schools dont want to legitimize the rest of us by playing us especially if it is not an easy W for them. we dont seem to have any trouble getting a-m and tcu to play us in everything but smu and ut-austin are a little uppity.

It's official 2019 in Dallas and 2020 in San Marcos. It's a little later than I wanted to see, wish it was 2017 or 2018.

I think it is important to keep as much revenue as we possibly can inside the state. That makes financial sense and adds to the rivalries."

That's great and all but where exactly are our money games going to come from?

TXST signing a series with TCU, Baylor or A&M would be cool. I would think that their dance cards would all be full though.

Yeah, can't imagine a Bobcat fan that isn't looking forward to this . . . . We hate them, they hate us, and we each live in the other's backyard. It'll be fun, and will be great for both schools . . .
