Since SMU and ECU are so similar........... App gets a H&H from Wake. Wake and FSU are both in the ACC, so therefore App should get a H&H from FSU right?

So you're saying if ECU offered in excess of $1 million for a guarantee one and done you would view that favorably?

No G5 should expect or accept a 2 for 1 or neutral site with another G5.

Grapevine word is UTEP wants and 2/1. Ain't happening. And we have pursued UNT but they refuse to even think about/consider it.

That leaves Rice and UT (from TX), that we haven't played in the past decade, that we could still go after games with.

SMU is focusing on local schools - Arkansas or Texas where our fans can travel easily and whose fan bases will travel well to Dallas. We are in no way ready to demand 2-1

The casual fan that just knows UT/A&M in the state doesn't realize how much better we are than UNT, and UNT would like to keep it that way.

If you read the first qualification, than you wouldn't be asking the question. Plus, I have serious doubts whether or not ECU would ever pay 7 figure guarantees to anyone.

Nevada and New Mexico had a return game to New Mexico that year. However, Nevada left the WAC and joined the MWC so it became a conference game. Since there wasn't much time to fill their schedules, TXST played both. So it was a matter of us helping both out at the last minute.

UNTs schedule is full for a while. They have a long series with SMU and a few games with Army. Throw in a FCS and money game and they are booked until past 2020.
