Now time to examine the attorney to see if he has any ties to the athletic program or was a booster. If so he has been in contact with Austin before he was released. Hello tampering

Bit funny to see a let it go comment...in a thread started by a retread who could not just let it go...and a thread rife with comments still bashing Pastner at every possibly opportunity...
In other words, nearly every post in this thread is from Pastner bashers who cannot let that go, yet in a thread titled about daddy boy, a comment about the tawdriness of daddy boy is given the let it go.

Whether he owns it or not, that's a huge jab at Pastner. Not that I disagree, but I predict Katz back pedals and says it's not a shot at Pastner. Katz just wants people to like him.
How do you think Tony Bennett will react when AN father comes to his office with a folder full of plays that he wants them to run for Austin? Or when he asks for a weekly update on Austin's progress.

He'll handle it fine. Most coaches dont have problems with parents when running a stable program

Actually, Nichols dad mettling would make that program unstable. Mettling parents are probably not the usual at Virginia and here he comes even if the coach is better than the coach here at Memphis

I thought it was an old broom handle? If it now is a bale of hay, has their season ticket count increased?

Funny to see Nichols wish Memphis coaches the best after his lawyer blasted them as dysfunctional.

"I want to wish that failing program and that dysfunctional staff nothing but the best!"
... I'm ready for see CJP gone in the worst way, but I agree here with Geoff. A little late to try and play the class card. Of course, they may have felt they had to play "hard ball" with the lawyer to get what they really wanted (Virginia), but nonetheless.

He wishes us the best haha. Yeah right the way this guy left shows he and his family true colors. I can't believe a guy from memphis could throw us under the bus like that. We all know this is a dysfunctional program under Pastner but to voice all this stuff publicly is trashy. Just leave with some respect. I didn't hear Nick King bash the program on his way out atleast not publicly but u know he could say lots of damaging things as well. Maybe Austin is a big reason why chemistry has been so bad over the past few years he obviously hated being here. It could be addition by subtraction. Either way we will survive one way or another, he only has one or two years if eligibility left so who cares. It's surprising how all this has played out. I think it prob seals the deal for Pastner being gone next year barring a great run this season. It's time for everyone to move on. He has had seven years and it's not working time to go in a different direction.

I would be totally shocked if Nichols doesnt have a good career at VA and we never hear anything about his dad or whatever else people want to pretend was the problem here
