Back to the Headline of the Thread. The Real and Only reason for Voter ID is to prevent People from Voting More than 1 time or Voter fraud. If You can't prove You are Whom You say You are, You can't vote. I'm sure there is a way to handle Folks that don't have a drivers license and can be verified with other methods but there Have been Many past cases where folks that were dead, in prison, under 18, fictional Characters voting multiple times when They shouldn't have. Chicago 1960 was a famous for scores of Dead people having votes cast in Their name and it changed the election outcome. Some say Florida in 2000 had issues. We need a Standard set of Rules for the entire Country. Change the way some states allow same day registration and Voting. Change the Way some states allow Crossover voting in primaries. Not a good plan. But these same folks that argue about having an ID is wrong. They now have a Year and a Half to get ready and get an ID for the 2016 election.

Voter ID is here to stay.

Maybe both parties should make a concerted effort to get more, actual people into the booths instead. Sure, there will be some people like the first guy in the OP video that is having a tough time, and he should be helped out, but to act as if this is going to keep millions upon millions from voting is insane, seeing as how half those people aren't voting anyway.
