Now that I've figured out how to stream onto my TV, this is as good as any televised game, for me. Of course it probably doesn't move the dial in terms of an audience outside of the 2 schools fans.

Harry's article about the Eastern Michigan announcement says that ASN will announce at least some of their schedule next week.

you're right about the exposure part (or non exposure), but for espn content a roku, chromecast, and/or apple TV (or a cable from a laptop) to a TV is great. I actually have a projector with a roku stick so for night games I watch outside on a 100 in screen...doubt it happens in the near future, but an ASN app for those platforms would be sweet.
monarch media is okay. CUSA digital network is a wet turd.

I agree with this. ESPN3 streams great to a TV, and you can even do it from your phone and it's a great quality.
I would love for ASN to have an app that offered streaming as well

Tell the world to watch espn3 games if they can. That truly is logged and metrics can easily been seen on the amount of viewers there are vs TV.

I'm just happy that the game is getting out there somehow. Hopefully the weather behaves in Ypsilanti that day so we get a nice clear view of that strange field of theirs.

I'd rather look at the dull grey in Ypsilanti than that horrible blue in Boise. Boise would obviously be the higher profile game but I can't stand looking at that blue turf.

Hey I can look at Boise before I can look at Eastern Washington, watching that turf on TV literally hurts my eyes

I'm very old school and not the least bit media savvy. Where do you go to find viewer metrics for cable content?

Not sure? I know very little about TV ratings and such. I just know, from a technical standpoint, that it would be easy to track viewership for a web stream as you can see how many people are connected, how long, all that stuff.

There used to be a blog that published the Nielsen ratings for all of the cable sports networks (ESPN, NBC, Fox) but it shutdown after a lawsuit threat.
