I think you have it backwards. The series in March is the only metric that U Conn has over Tulane.

Listen, I have nothing against Tulane, despite what I post. I only put Tulane on blast because that f***ing troll Savacool wouldn't stop spreading lies and half-truths about why the nBE left and its relation to Tulane. Couple that with his constant troll posts that, until recently, had no basis in reality and you can begin to understand my putting Tulane on blast.

As to your question: More overall wins (possible push if today's results stand) and more road wins. I'd put home wins in there, but Tulane's played 14 more home games than UCONN. I'd also put neutral site games, but Tulane has played a grand total of zero of those.

Things Tulane has over UCONN: higher RPI and better conference record.

UCONN has played 8 more road games than Tulane and has 4 more wins. How can we use that but not home games. (Although both have little to no relevancy)

So 14 more home games holds the same weight as FOUR more road games?

And better road record and better record against the top 50.
We'd have a bid basically wrapped up if the weather doesn't eff us, which it looks like it will.
For the coup de grace, we'd also move into a much tougher tourney bracket.
Savacool's a troll. Every Tulane fan knows that and recognizes it.

No greater than yours. No less, either.

Season doesn't end until after tourney. ECU opens vs UCF and they are a good team.

I've seen them in person, I know. The point, you missed it. They have all, but played themselves out of a regional. Yet they have the talent to be top 3 in the AAC.

Yes but they could just as easily win tourney and be in the dance. So that slump would had been wiped out.

"All, but" that part is key, it implies they still have a shot. Just say'n.

Tulane is projected in right now, that =/= actually. But, with both Tulane and UConn sitting under 35 wins, they both still have work to do or both could sitting home. Under 35 wins is not a safely in, 35 and up is safer, but not 100%, only 40+ is 100% in.

Houston sweeps UConn and claims conference title. Proud of the Coogs. Huskies played UH very close and hard; UConn never gave up.

Our pitching is insane right now. Didn't even pitch Romero today, and still got another shutout. 5 runs in 3 games for the conference's best offense. 1 run for Rice on Tuesday.

Looks like tulane will beat memphis to win series 2 to 1. We're currently up 9 0 in 7th

Great series win today by Tulane over Memphis. We should be a lock for the NCAA tournament.

If the last two in each quadrant of the conference tournament are

UH vs USF

and

ECU vs Tulane

then I think all four have a good shot to make the tournament.
