Tulane defeated Memphis 5-2 in the second game of the series today. The final third rubber game starts in 45 minutes. A Tulane win under Coach David Pierce in this series should get us a NCAA regional at large bid. Roll Green Wave!

With an RPI in the 50s? Doubtful.

Their RPI would be around 44 if they won. 11-12 vs Top 50. 14-10 on the road. 41 SOS. 13-11 in the third conference. Wouldnt be odd for them to get in at all

Back of the line behind UCONN, troll. 2-1, or do you think that never happened?

UCONN isn't going to get in over Tulane simply because of a series in March

It ain't how you start, it's how you finish. Just ask UCF.

Season doesn't end until after tourney. ECU opens vs UCF and they are a good team.

I've seen them in person, I know. The point, you missed it. They have all, but played themselves out of a regional. Yet they have the talent to be top 3 in the AAC.

Yes but they could just as easily win tourney and be in the dance. So that slump would had been wiped out.

The only thing Tulane has over UCONN is a higher RPI. That's it. So explain to me how UCONN, by nearly every metric, is better than Tulane?

If we win Memphis series our RPI will drop to the 40s. Not doubtful!

I think you have it backwards. The series in March is the only metric that U Conn has over Tulane.

Bulls win game 3 from the Knights 5-4 with a DP in ninth with bases loaded

That's a big series win for the Bulls and should keep us in top 30 RPI heading into tourney. We will probably face Memphis or Tulane in round 1

Listen, I have nothing against Tulane, despite what I post. I only put Tulane on blast because that f***ing troll Savacool wouldn't stop spreading lies and half-truths about why the nBE left and its relation to Tulane. Couple that with his constant troll posts that, until recently, had no basis in reality and you can begin to understand my putting Tulane on blast.

As to your question: More overall wins (possible push if today's results stand) and more road wins. I'd put home wins in there, but Tulane's played 14 more home games than UCONN. I'd also put neutral site games, but Tulane has played a grand total of zero of those.

Things Tulane has over UCONN: higher RPI and better conference record.

That's rich coming from you. I don't see you saying the same thing about Savacool, but then I'm not a raging hypocrite.

Also, who f***ing cares if I'm a graduate of UCONN or not? I never told you if I was, and I never will. It's none of your f***ing business!!

better rpi, sos, conference record, more top 50 wins... you know... relevant stats. You have one more win overall, whoopy.
