I know we like to think that a win here or there over a P5 put us right square on the lips of the national media and fans but it doesn't. Appst beating Michigan did more for them than any FCS title same with our win over FL. We both are still reaping the rewards and it ain't just local. Gast's win over Baylor will definitely get its traction just wait and reap the benefits.

Anyone who is surprised would qualify as delusional or a Liberty fan which is apparently the same thing.
The pattern seems when GaSt is mentioned, SBC fans have little respect for the program. When your own conference members have little respect and see ineptitude and lack of success of the program that is a big problem. Then a Liberty mention is made to attempt to deflect attention from the squashing GaSt is taking from SBC posters. Let's see who gets their house in order first. Will GaSt begin winning and become relevant as a competitor in the SBC, or will Liberty becomes a FBS member first? Release the hounds.
I will take that money. Liberty couldn't convince Mexican College football to call them up. It's not happening. Truly.
We shall see young buck.
Not young by a long shot Son. We will lose lose some games. Charlotte and Liberty will not be on the list. Can't wait for you to meet Nick.

I appreciate the enthusiasm for your team. The bravado talk just does not equal up to the wins and losses, or fan support, or attendance or respect from fellow SBS posters. Liberty becoming FBS or a winning program at GaSt? Safe money is on Liberty becoming FBS, not a floundering program stating victories against a FCS and transiting team. Guaranteeing wins against Liberty and Charlotte. That's a clear position of where the GaSt program is. I've stated many times there's an upside to GaSt, it's just at present a ship at sea without a rudder going in circles.

You are being paid to be an FCS tuneup. Nothing more. So relax Francis.

As for being a rudderless...I think maybe we just won a tourney game and are first place in baseball so easy does it Bug South. I know youre taking the world by storm but seriously relax. We are afraid of you and your prowess Liberty, Happy now Francis?

It is easy to see why Georgia State has been added to the SBC and Liberty has been turned down twice and if they go for a vote later this spring...a third time.

Its not the 1st time Ive said it and probably won't be the last:

"There is a reason Liberty has been in the Big South since 1991, And there is a reason Liberty will be in the Big South in 2020 and beyond"...

I don't see CUSA going to 16 anytime soon either. My guess is if that were to happen there would be an "Airport Meeting" within 5-7 years and a split of 9-12 schools would take place. My best bet is the next CUSA meeting they will give UAB a timeframe to reinstate their football program or find a new conference to call home. If UAB doesn't reinstate football then CUSA will grab one of the 3 in ULL, AState or South Alabama.
