Josh is a PG away from saving his rear...
IMHO... And in a nutshell, screwing up the PG position basically has him and the program where we're at today. If he can somehow fix that AND get his guys to defend, things could get better in a hurry as other pcs are in place, for next year anyway.

And my apologies to you KJ lovers out there, but if he doesn't find a quality PG with some quicks that can av more than 2.7 assists per and if overall team defense and transition game don't improve, it's just going be deja vu all over again.

However it plays out, I just want my Tigers back, don't really care who the coach is.

He had one he could have developed, but alas, he ran him off.

We were a point guard away last year. Everybody knew it.

I'm sorry ... but we need 2s more than 1s ... it's almost like we watched different teams.

You have plenty of 2s. Kedren, Markel, Woodson, Burrell.. I don't have a clue what you are watching.

As a young man, I knew if I was due a paddling in school the next day, I'd put on 4 - 5 extra pair of underware. If what you say is true, Pastner needs to invest heavily in Fruit of the Loom.

There aren't any program saving point guards out there.

Don't need a Derrick Rose, just a solid, quick and PURE PG.

RE: Josh is a PG away from saving his rear...
He had four great guards and did nothing with them so what makes u think he would be successful with another one. We prob had the best backcourt in America with Joe, Chris, Dixon and Geron. I mean that was a high level backcourt and we still couldn't win. So I don't think one point guard at this point will change anything. It would have to be a grad transfer or something and there are no difference makers out there at this stage. Only hope is that Kedren discovers he can't sing and focuses on basketball where he could make a living playing overseas or u can have Markel play some point but not really his position. Maybe KJ could run some point I dunno if he handles good enough to play point in college though. I don't think there is much hope for the pg spot or for Josh. U can't lose so many players and expect to be successful. I still don't understand why pookie was just basically benched the second half of the season. It makes no sense but neither does a lot if things he does.

At the very least, there were lots of games, where Pookie would have been a much better option at the 2 than Woodson or Markel. Disgusting how Pastner screwed Pookie.

In all fairness, someone is getting paid 2.65 to answer that question.

Say what you like about defense, but if JJ and Geron match their 2013 shooting totals, we would have won at least 2-3 more games, and would have had a much better seed in the tournament, and probably make the Sweet 16.

Not only would making more shots have lead to more points, but it would have opened things up big time for the rest of the offense. One other thing that almost never gets mentioned is Pellom being injured. He was a very important and needed piece of our front line.
