If you say so - that reads like someone getting spanked.

On the question of "was Rose eligible?" We were always going to get spanked. They issue was could the University have known he was ineligible under those circumstances. The answer to that was obviously not. Then strict liability where it doesn't matter what the university knew. That was atrocious. But you rarely help your case by arguing against the obvious...it's not like it was a message board.lol.

A teeny mention of the clearing house would have been nice.

Here is a good give and take by some bright minds from awhile back regarding the hearing:

Where's the pic that TG4 posted at the time of the "Dream Team"? Raines, RC and Lipman. Epic.

Do you think that the infractions committee is unaware of what the clearinghouse is or what the process is for getting players cleared to play? Do you think it would have made any difference at all if the words "clearing house" had been mentioned instead of "we do believe that the university proceeded appropriately based on the information it had at the time in allowing him to play" which is obliquely referencing the fact that he had been cleared?

Apparently to some arguing in front of the NCAA should be handled with the diplomacy, tact and aplomb as your typical message board argument. If only we had used our LINKS and emojis!

I just don't understand how Calipari just got to walk ... when he was the head coach and OWNED the city, not just the Athletic Department. He obviously had to know or, at the very least, bear SOME responsibility. How does the NCAA allow that ?

I just checked with Slippin' Jimmy, and he agrees with me.
