I hope Jimmy aint his agent.

According to Parrish, Josh doesn't really have an agent. Someone likely looks over his contracts and all that but he doesn't have anyone actively fighting for/selling him. It's something GP has repeatedly said Josh needs to change.

I'm thinking he'll start at the gym, then head to pick up his dry cleaning, then perhaps to the bank to deposit his check while laughing at the rubes on MT.org.

That's just a guess on his destinations today, though.

Pastner can be sold by an AD. He may not be tops on the list but as a backup he could get a call from a place like Georgia Tech. I think he would be a good first candidate for a place like Arizona State. Most fans of schools are not following college basketball close enough to see what many Memphis fans are frustrated about. They will see wins and NCAA appearances and feel like they got a good coach. And who knows, maybe a change of scenery would be good for JP...

Well, if you look at his ability to land a top job with no experience and be paid really well, I'd say he is doing pretty good on his own.

What the hell does the time of night have to do with anything? Not everyone is on the same schedule as you. There are all kinds of reasons why someone may be on this board in the middle of the night. However, like a number of your comments, if it doesn't fit your agenda, there must be something wrong somewhere.

If Calipari had a twin brother, would he be a good coach too?

I get what you are saying. But I'm 1 1/2 hours from a&m & i can assure you they are beginning to see the negatives in a coach who can recruit & not coach. It's kind of like a man with all the tools under he sun in his shed, but if you asked him to build something he wouldn't know where to start. That is where memphis & a&m are.

Less to do with his (or an agent's) ability than the jaw-dropping inability of our AD at the time.

When you look at the 4 straight tournaments, the talent coming in, the money; I don't see how it will or should happen. He should be "encouraged" to get a real coaching staff. he needs some dudes that can help coach the team. We could have a squad next year with some competent coaching and it would be nice if that was taken advantage of.

Yep, I think there is no doubt he'll get some stern "encouragement" re: coaching staff this summer and rightfully so in my opinion.
