Needing and wanting are two different things. Almost every conference change over the last two decades has been an effort to grab more money. It doesn't matter how much they currently have.

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. Absolutely a great win for the Dukes, but certainly a bad loss for the ticks.

This has become sad....I remember beating good teams, hanging w BYU, respectable against UNLV, losing to FL by a few in the tourney....losing was never so fun as it was back then.
