I think it has its place, but like most report cards there is a column for grades and a column for conduct - stuff like what is above fall into the conduct column.

I concur wholeheartedly with this TigerGG!!!.... but in my opinion, these are categories that are already exploited in many posts where we are labeled as p_ssing on Josh!!! These are just the facts but I will assure you that certain posters will dare to entertain this post because these are the criteria that Josh and ONLY josh can be graded upon.....This elimin8s the many scapegoats and variables that the "JP shampoo" users dare to address

FYI, these are not "facts". They are opinion. It's comical to imply JP has been a total failure. No one in their right mind would say JP has not done 'average/slightly below average' with his performance. But 'average' is not good enough for a program with Memphis's history, resources and expectations. We need a coach who can teach, manage a game, motivate and do all the things JP is good at.

I think JP would be a great college General Manager if one existed...

He gets the players, gets and keeps them qualified and someone else does the BASKETBALL stuff.

That is a gr8 point.....has been mentioned before.....The poster (me) was called insane,stupid,bully,thug,miserable,h8er,basher or something to that effect.....JMO, but I think this is a gr8 opportunity for Josh to think outside of the box and be very creative in helping our city get to where it wants to be....Josh makes enough and doesn't have to change his salary....He could arrange for someone to coach & manage the team.....My initial thoughts were Penny.....most said Penny would never coach the Tigers.....okay, so bring in a guy such as Todd Day...already coaching the Lawsons....and during the offseason, Josh gives this process a try while allowing Todd more and more authority with running the team while Josh transitions more & more into the college GM role

We can give Josh ANY titles that we want of most "whatever" here! Thanks Josh......Josh is a very above average recruiter,we know that! Recruits also Memphis absolutely destroy the NCAA's in 2008....they saw Derrick Rose,they saw Tyreke,they saw CDR, they saw Dorseys dunks they were buying Penny's shoes.....Memphis is a gr8 place to play and get exposure to the NBA. ....even more so than many "blue bloods".....

Now we are @ a point where Memphis has had excessive defections/loss of interest of assistants,of recruits,of fans. ......we are getting embarrassed on ESPN. .....our home is no longer protected by a team that has structure or discipline(on the court).....and this is recognized by those that really understand the nuances and eb and flow of the game......it is evident that Josh has pulled the wool over a lot of people's eyes.....the recent string of loses (not just the loss coloumn)are a signal that if there is smoke,then there also maybe fire.....Josh has had a wonderful opportunity, he should be gr8ful of that....he was given an opportunity of a lifetime that he wasn't prepared for,therefore there should be absolutely NO Ill feelings from Josh or his supporters that we want to NOW search for a more experienced leader for our club.....We wish Josh well,this was a nice rebound. .....but the Pastner era has reached a plateau. ....that's just the facts,it's becoming comical......so instead of enduring any more volitility.....we simply want to dump @ a nice crest of earnings @ this point.....just b4 break even to avoid more losses!

We have some that feel the "Lawsons" are what Josh needs......Josh needs to GROW in key/strategic areas of coaching. ......The Tigers & the city of Memphis needs the Lawsons. ......Because of the slope we are on as a program & recruiting wise.....we can't afford the Lawsons to become another project or experiment......it would be devestating .......and those who post that we are going to be extremely successful next year! Where exactly are you pulling that from??? Please elaborate. .......
