RE: Why don't we split board - those who want Pastner gone at end of season under ANY
KJ is just bigger than everyone he plays against at his position. He's is going to have to work on his ball handling to play the major college level.

He won't be bigger than most of the 3's in college. His handles were good against the pressure of number one team in country (Oak Hill) when I saw him play. Needs a little more strength.

He looked real sloppy in that game to me. I was NOT impressed with Oak Hill at all.

We must have watched different games. Oak Hill is #1 or 2 in nation in just about every poll. Top 10 player; High D1 scholarships for starters-Ohio St., Fla. St., etc-6th man got a scholly to Iowa.
KJ willed us back into that game when Hamilton was down 10-12 early 2cd quarter. He was very active on D and hit the 3's and drove the lane to give Hamilton the lead. Played very well. IMO. And the coach from Oak Hill and recruiting guru from ESPN singled him out. Actually outplayed Dedric that game.

Don't think so at all...as many of us grew up playing multiple organized team sports for most of our lives (and just as important, played for some great coaches who were teacher's of the game...who's lessons last a lifetime...whereas others didn't (maybe they were into video games, etc...not actual team sports).
I think those that didn't participate in different organized sports are easy to spot on message boards.

Why do you think the bitter people would be segregated to the anti-Pastner side of your proposed split? Do you feel that a person must be bitter if he doesn't support Pastner? That doesn't seem too rational to me.
I love Pastner and hope he makes money hand over fist. But I no longer think he is going to lead the Tigers any further than he has made it so far. I have said it before; I believe two jobs down the line Josh if going to be a good coach. Just not now, just not at Memphis.

The posts in this thread confirm what I originally posted if you have read this thread. Didn't say it was solution-more sarcasm than anything. EVERY thread comes down to Pastner. Turns most members off.

People going "ad nauseam" about the guy are bitter. I'm one of those who use to post on this board regularly but those obsessed with telling everyone on and on about the coach over and over again, even in non-Pastner threads is tiresome and has driven me mostly away other than a peek every now and then. I know it's a message board but don't people get exhausted repeating themselves.? What happens or not happens at the end of the year is going to happen regardless of whether or not someone have to remind a poster for the 100th time how bad a coach is.

he will not win next year because he doesn't have the collection of winning pieces....starting with a Lead guard...
he will say at the end of next week when they are kicked out of AAC that "the players will need to get better and he has to coach them up"
And in 6 years his coaching hasn't coached any player or team up...they haven't beaten anybody that no one gave them a shot to beat...they underachieve every year and we give him a raise and extension.

Exactly! Everything is Pastner's fault. This is why you do not want to follow a HOF coach.

Well, in fairness, it does seem to get exacerbated, sometimes instigated, by the other side.
I went in the game thread after the final, never posted, but I read a lot of comments immediately after the game ended, such as "sadly, this won't satisfy some fans."
Seems a weird thing to think about after a win - seems like if you didn't post stuff like that, you wouldn't attract those kinds of posters. To me, it sounds like the other side wanting a chance to say "told you so" instead of just celebrating the win, like they often advocate doing.
It goes both ways IMO.

It would be very useful if there was a 15 second delay on this site with a dialogue on a mandatory preview of the post that said:
"Is this post going to (a) add to the conversation in a meaningful way or is it (b) merely intended to irritate people:
If (a) click HERE
If (b) click HERE"
It does go both ways.

Yea...if it didn't happen on both sides, people would have to go schizoid with themselves.
Does anyone think the division will ever be less noticeable? Even when Pastner moves on...? Seems like it won't, since it's more about us than anything else.
