Biggest turnaround I've ever seen. That team is largely comprised of kids they had last year, and they were embarrassingly bad. I still don't get how they got so good in just one season.

agreed. i just couldn't accept that. they were so bad last year, and they have no bigs. it doesn't make sense.

Ughhh. Looks like we are going to Millett again (assuming WMU beats NIU tonight). That Miami team looked awful in Ypsi. How are they beating all of these teams at the top of the conference?
Such a weird year.
i don't get it either. i was running my mouth about how Miami was one of the worst MAC teams in recent memory.

Rob Murphy is undefeated in Muncie. If only we could play Ball State and NIU 18 times.

I think it is impossible for us to host a game even if we win Friday.
If we tie with MIA (8 - 10) they have the tie breaker over us.
Amazing (if MIA wins) that it takes a 9 - 9 or better record to host the first round...

We have bigs, but most are just freshmen. And John Simons, while not a center by any means, has done a solid job on both ends of the court. IDK if the entire MAC tournament will be televised or not, but good luck in the first round.

Likewise. Hopefully we don't end up on your side of the bracket!

They no longer possess the right to criticize our attendance numbers.

i prefer lowly CMU to first seed CMU, but good luck to you nonetheless. you all have earned the success. and yes, Simons is a beast.

RE: ball st game
Interesting year in the MAC, one team, CMU, with 12 wins, with one game left in the season.
Lot of 11, 10, or 9 win teams...
My guess: a CRAZY tourney, because there is no strong favorite.

We're playing to surpass '79's prediction of 18 wins...

RE: ball st game
A Miami win over Ohio and an Akron loss to Kent State would give Akron the 8 seed, while Miami would move up to 7. At least I believe so. I think I would rather play Akron at the moment.

RE: ball st game
If NIU beats Western tonight in Dekalb, and wins on in Muncie on Friday while we lose to Toledo, they'd pass us and we'd fall to 10. Likely, once again, playing at Miami if that scenario unfolds. I'm pulling for WMU tonight.
