If that's the case then all I can say is WOW.

I didn't say any of that. You did.

I simply think you're overstating the problems.

You said you didn't agree with any of those points other than the fact that Josh probably wouldn't have to work again BUT that he probably would.

Apparently you have a problem with reading skills.

Then you do agree with those points?

No. I only agree somewhat, with a great amount of qualifiers.

Wow.

2,900 people "liked" a FB page out of a city population of 600,000 plus?

That's a mandate.

Think it’s time to join the rest of my buds (who were part of the initial Tiger supporters in my generation) and get off this train before it completely jumps the tracks.

Time for the “Me” generation to do their thing with their “Mine” coach.

I've said that after each of the last 2 years, but like a fool kept coming back b/c I love Tiger hoops. This time though, I am with ya. I've already skipped 5 or 6 games this year and gave the rest of them for this season to my wife's friend who is a single mom and doesn't get to take her son to many Tiger or Grizz games. Maybe they can find some enjoyment in going b/c I cant.

New coach is hired this offseason, I will be at every game next year. Pastner still here, and I'll be at none. There has to be lots more folks in the same boat.

The members of MT.org have a disproportionate impact on shaping perception because we take the time and energy to discuss Tiger athletics and the media picks up on it. We do not necessarily represent the views held by the majority of Tiger fans.

Don't worry about it there are like 5 people on this board that no matter what is said about Josh they are going to defend him.. I know plenty of season ticket holders that aren't renewing if Josh is still here.. Anyone with half a brain can see that he has lost a lot of the fan base.. For the life of me I don't see how anyone that knows anything about basketball can't see that Josh is in way over his head and can't Coach his way out of a wet paper bag!!

There are also more than five who no matter what Josh has done or is doing or will do...will bash him.

But glad to see another open minded reasoned response...as for the life of you, you do not see how anyone who knows anything about basketball cannot see that he is in way over his head. And cannot coach his way out if a paper bag.

Yes...you were trolling...but this is fairly typical...

Tough season this year. Likely back in too twenty or better caliber next year. Maybe those fans come back...maybe not.
Regardless, they will still spend a lot of time bothering those who do.

He has placed himself in a very tough spot but his massive income provides quite a soft landing.
The program needs a change. Soon.

Almost everything in this post is opinion.

Opinion or not, it is the opinion of the big money boosters that ultimately matters and it sounds like some are disappointed to say the least.

What's really funny to me is the love affair some on here have with Pastner. I get it, what's posted on facebook speaks for the entire Tiger nation. Look around oh great Pastner lover at all the empty seats at our home games, gets worse with each season and each game. Guess those that are not attending and have lost faith in Pastner just forgot to post on facebook.

Did you even read the OP?

What the OP said is ridiculous. If you want a poll then poll the real fans. The hardcore people and anyone else who has a clue about basketball that follows the team. Poll the opposing coaches while your at it too.
Poll Alan Graf a see what he says. He and his thick wallet buddies will do the final "polling."

The real fans who should be polled are those who buy season tickets AND pay the per seat donation. It us what keeps Tiger BB afloat. Then weigh those counts on a point system by amount and length of donation. Real supporters would voice their opinion.

Not saying to ignore others but I know too many graduates of other schools who watch Tiger BB religiously but don't put a dime into program. It would be interesting to see how those two groups differ in their opinion.

I'm one of those fans and there are many like me who think Pastner is in over his head and needs to be replaced. I've made my feelings known to Tom Bowen and Adam Walker, told them to pay attention to all the empty seats and pay attention to those not renewing season tix along with stopping their TSF donations if Pastners still the coach next year. Believe me, they're paying very close attention to what's going on with the fan base, and it's not coming from a facebook page.
