RE: Hottest College in America Tour @ Dayton Art Institute
I will be there along with a fellow classmate and alum from the college of pharmacy.
And I convinced my wife to join me as well. She is a college of business alum.

I had some friends in the college of pharmacy. They called the house they lived in the "drug house".

What year did you graduate? I got out in 2000 with my bachelor's and 2002 with my PharmD. We were Dick Wuest's last class.

1993 with my bachelor's. I was ROTC, and went active duty with the Army right after graduating. I ended up getting my PharmD at South Carolina.
Good old Dr. Wuest. I liked him. I saw him at the alumni event last year. They are having the college of pharmacy alumni event next week at the UCONN game, but I have a function at the college that I am coming down for, and then am meeting some friends at the game.
I remember being stationed in Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center in 99-00, and went to the Big Island for the Thanksgiving basketball tourney. Who did I see in the stands but Dr. Wuest.
That was an awesome experience, seeing that team, with Kenyon as a senior, in a little, 1/3 filled, high school gym.

I had a Zoo life class with Kenyon, Pete Mickeal, and Fletch. There might have been others. That was a good time.

I tried to sign up for that Zoo Life class like 3 times, it was always full. Guess you and the basketball team took all of the spots

And Bruce, you being a Minster boy, I'm from Miami East.
I will be the 5"9' guy, clipper-short hair, in a black suit, with a blonde wife who looks to be way out of my league.
I will look for you. I am 6'-0", 210 lbs, with slightly graying black hair that has not been properly combed in decades. My way out of my league wife couldn't make it since she works in Milwaukee 3-4 days a week.
Plus, I will probably have the oldest, worst shape UC coat in attendance.

Good to me namrag there. Also got to talk with ragpicker for a bit. Plus I got Mike Bohn to agree to let me help with the stats during a game next year.
We tried to nail Ono down about the Big12. He said about as much as he could without saying it was happening for certain.

He basically said all the Big12 Presidents know him and are familiar with all the good things about the university, and that it is the Presidents who make athletic conference decisions. Then he came back to the subject later and said while he can't say anything specific and he doesn't not know of any definite conference expansion, he is very optimistic.
Again, no specifics, but just watching and listening to him it was like he wanted to say "don't worry, we'll be in" and couldn't do so. That was my impression, at least.

You could tell that both President Ono and Bohn had to bite their tongue hard. They both really wanted to spill the beans. Ono pretty much said that we were in. He said that since he's not the one inviting, it wouldn't be appropriate for him to announce it.
