Without seeing it...I strongly doubt it. Not because the guy can't give a great speech. But c'mon - 6th year of his presidency? No one cares what he says anymore. Familiarity breeds contempt, and we've all heard it before. He's not new, he's not fresh, and almost everyone acknowledges that his time in office was far more modest (at best) in "accomplishments" vs the hype surrounding his presidential campaign for his first term.

RE: State of the Union - 2015
It was one of the most partisan SOTU speeches I've ever heard.
He was again pontificating on how Americans should debate politics blah blah blah.
It all seemed more "preachy" than a SOTU should.
My favorite part was when he said he wants an America where political debates should be logical and not divisive. He also said we shouldn't take potshots or strive for "gotcha moments". Then, about 5 minutes later he made a comment that his campaigning days are over. I'm not sure what it was, but someone obviously made a sarcastic remark that wasn't clearly heard on camera to which he responded with, "I know, because I won both of them."
So, as usual... he went all preachy and it only took him about five minutes to be a complete hypocrite.

Obama made that statement after a few folks on the Republican side applauded the fact that he can't run anymore.

Regardless of why he quipped back with that, while it was funny, it smacked of hypocrisy following his preaching about how we should conduct ourselves in political and social disagreements.
Look, I'm all for it and I did think it was a bit funny. I'm just saying his actions didn't follow the words. If you want to quip and be sarcastic and funny and have some "gotcha moments", then don't tell Americans and the rest of Congress they can't do the same.

I liked the idea of tax breaks for childcare. I do not like the idea of free community college.

I agree on both. I'm not sure why he's still trying to sell that free community college crap, but when he said he's going to be criss-crossing the country over the next several months to sell his new ideas and programs I think he's definitely referring to that one.

Does a stay-at-home parent get a tax break too?

He took credit for low gas prices, even though his administration is hostile to the energy business. This clown is unbelievable. And it's even more unbelievable that some people think he's wonderful.
He's a pathetic human being.

And I don't know why. He's done nothing but harm this country.
The economy has slightly improved in spite of him. And our foreign policy is a joke; our enemies don't fear us and our friends don't trust us.
He's just a big zero.

That's not actually fair. He did push companies to use their gas leases or lose them. I do believe this has helped to at least try to create a sense of urgency.

The increase in production has been on private leases, not federal, so no, not really.
