State of the Union - 2015
We should have a thread on the SOTU, or we will end up with 18 threads about various things the POTUS says during the SOTU.

For like the last 14 years dating back to my college days, there's been a drinking game I play. Everytime the POTUS refers to himself in the first person (I, me, myself), take a drink.

It's pretty fun. I'll be participating while I listen to all of the nonsense. The only thing I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY can't stand is how many long and obnoxious claps standard party lines get. It doesn't matter who is POTUS, that's annoying.

So... let it fly. SOTU comments here!

You know you are dealing with our government when they can't even agree on reality.

I can't even watch it. Listening to his anti-American values is like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard.

I cannot watch these either. I've not been able to stomach a SOTU address since Bush started his second term.

Without watching, I bet the majority of his SOTU will be about doing things that he KNOWS will not be able to pass congress...just so he can claim he was for this or that but congress was against him. Just verbal masturbation with hopes that he can rebuild some kind of legacy for himself.

Someone should pull the plug on his teleprompter. He'd become silent, and then walk off.

I get it, it's like the movie Trading Places. He had a bet with Biden that he could bankrupt the US, downgrade our military capability, while empowering a more militant Islamic group. 04-cheers

Well played Obama, well played.
