Toledo will have a hard time recruiting them away from Dana's coaching brothers:

Scott Drew, Head Coach at #21 Baylor.

Bryce Drew, Head Coach at Valparaiso where their father Homer Drew was Head Coach for decades.

Then I hope they're artists, musicians or physicists or something other than hoopsters. I was fantasizing about 6'9" point guards.

RE: What a game!
David Brown is West Division POW. Much praise on the MAC site for his offensive explosion against UT. Anyone else think Brown played poorly against UT? He took 24 shots to get his points, shot about thirty percent and had no assists. He had a big game earlier in the week but I wanted the ball in his hands near game's end because he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

I thought Tava hurt us much more than Brown.

Tava is the extension of Reitz, Whittington, etc.- guys who look like tight ends or LBs but play hoops. We have nobody who looks like they spend time in the weight room except maybe Lauf. The guy from SMU was built very solidly. Wonder where he ended up?

I agree 100%--- It seemed that on at least 3 occasions in the final 4 minutes they make a heroic effort to crawl back into the game, only to immediately shoot themselves in the foot with missed free throws or unforced turnovers.

IMO it was not lack of effort that cost them the game in crunch time, it was lack of execution at several crucial junctures.

If they continue to follow their current pattern (up, down, up, down etc.), they should bring the A game for BG and so I predict a win.

I've been told that we play at Kent State before the BG game? If so I hope you're wrong with the trend. I'd much rather lose at Kent and beat BG04-cheers
We can't afford to lose any more games, this team is not ready to play every game, this is the coaches fault.
