positives: some improvement in team defense and rebounding, better communication on defense, bench was energetic (their cheering) and staff and squad seemed more intense.

negatives: juice officially has lost his mojo. playing unconfident. not enough speed and flow on offense. missing some open cuts/shows for easy baskets.

cleve st looks down this year. i'll take the road win, but it wasn't impressive.

Not the same Juice, for sure. Witherspoon is the most improved player IMO. Last year's fresh not contributing as I expected they would. We have to find a guy to score off the bench and Hall looks like the best candidate to me.

Coach K said the team has lost some confidence. A stretch of home games coming up could help that. Playing Duke at the end of the month won't. Scheduling mistake, IMO. Just like that long trip to Oregon was a mistake.

I know this is beating a dead horse for me, but we have only one big guy that can jump. Boothe was in foul trouble again. The team is a mess in terms of depth by position. Too many guards. Here's how I'd recruit for team balance. PG-2, SG-3, WF-3, PF-3, C-2.

2 bigs signed for next year during early signing period.

Yes, and I like them. But did we need another SG? I would have brought in the PG and 3 bigs. Just my opinion.

Do you think not having Jordan Mincy on the staff this year has had an impact on the play of Juice this season? I remember Juice saying multiple times last season that he had a close relationship with Coach Mincy and learned a lot. Juice played great last season. Was that partly due to Coach Mincy?

Actually Boothe had a foul to give in the waning seconds forcing CSU to inbound the ball, a tactic the Rockets used with success down the stretch to preserve the W.
