Parade of free throws coming up staring with Boothe shooting one and one, missed it. 45 seconds left. Vikings dunk cutting lead to 52-45. Drummond at the line for the Rockets. Hits two pushing lead back to 54-45 with 41.2 seconds left

Triple by Lewis 54-48 Rockets. Spoon to the line with 32.0 seconds. Shooting two, makes one.

I hate how they just try to kill the clock instead of trying to bury them...it's like playing prevent defense ughh

The Rockets got a much needed win on the road! It is nice to see that they can win a game when the offense isn't there. Good job!

Rockets lead coast-to-coast and were in command until the final 2:50 seconds

A win. Crappy free-throw shooting down the stretch along with trying to milk the clock without getting a high% shot as the shot clock winds down.

CSU shot 2 of 4 from the foul line. Smart and aggressive switching man-to-man defense by the Rockets without giving up silly fouls.

Excellent play by Drummond to stuff Lewis on a three point shot and then take the ball away and get fouled. He missed both shots - really surprised me but his legs may have been very heavy at that point. Rockets, with so few fouls, were able to foul the Vikings bringing the ball up court to drain the clock with putting CSU on the line.

Well, at least we won! I'm thinking its a good thing we don't play in the Horizon League! I'll admit I was worried as our 18-point lead started to dwindle...wish we wouldn't start throwing up so many jump shots--some guys are shooting from out there who really probably shouldn't be, and we appear to be a different (more productive) team when we dribble drive. What is it with teams being able to hit so many 3s against us? I greatly appreciated the defensive effort in the first half, though! Sounds like maybe more hustle on the floor tonight than any game since VCU. Hopefully the Rockets can play an even more complete game Saturday against Chicago State.

On the postgame radio show, Coach K said that on some of those threes at the end, they couldn't have guarded them any better without fouling

Good road win. I'm getting Duke tickets soon though it's around $150-200 a ticket. Promised my brother a road trip to Durham. Anyone else going?
