Are you seriously calling that trolling. You guys were bagging on us after the Temple game and you guys started saying that Memphis wouldn't have beat Cincy if Cincy didn't play Ohio State the week before. I just said it we played Ole Miss and we came ready. Then you guys proceeded to be obnoxious about it and call it our Super Bowl. I said being 19-13 isn't our Super Bowl. That isn't trolling that's facts.
Time and time again, you continue to prove the Super Bowl comment true. The Memphis loss reflected poorly on our program; by contrast, it's the banner win on your season. And that says everything about where our two programs are in the college football landscape. Sorry, but thems just facts.
That "Super Bowl" comment absolutely refers to the whole fan base. It's not Ramen's Super Bowl you're talking about, lol.
And if you believe that, then you don't understand our fan base very well. You don't rev up our fan base. Louisville, Tennessee and Ole Miss do.
And even this season, a lot of us were much more jacked about playing UCLA and Ole Miss, than Cincinnati. And you guys try hard just to ignore us, so you sure as hell aren't our Super Bowl.
I do think we can make this a good rivalry in the conference. That's a long way from a Super Bowl, lol.
So let me get this straight: your fan base defines your season - your first winning season in seven years - by losses to UCLA and Ole Miss, but not by its win over UC?
I hate to say it but Ole Miss and Tennessee would be our Super Bowl

Damn dude, read it. Cincy doesn't do anything for our fan base compared to Ole Miss, UT, or Louisville. Definitely not or SB. We have been playing those teams before AAA was born and he's as old as dirt.....just kidding but using it for analysis.
UCLA was top 10. Ole Miss was top 10. Cincy was top 50.

Never said we were you rivals, cause we're not. Loserville is our rival. It's a historic rivalry filled with stories that have been passed from generation to the next. You probably found out who Louisville thought was their rival as well, when they renewed a contract to play Memphis and left cinci hanging.
Cinci's rival is Xavier. It is what it is.......
Bwahahahaha....
Do you REALLY think Louisville is Memphis' rival???
Now THAT is some sort of funny right there!!!
(Remembering the fact that Louisville announced that they were LEAVING the conference...without an invitation to the ACC or anywhere else...when it was announced that Pitt and 'Cuse were leaving and being replaced with Memphis and SMU... Yeah, buddy, that's some serious rivalry there...)

It was a huge win for Memphis. Only victory over a team getting votes in the USA coaches poll. Would not happen if the game was today. RE: Don't sleep on Cincinnati
I think UC/Memphis played today would be a good game and I could see either team winning it for sure. What I don't believe would happen is a Memphis beatdown. But it's all moot. We played Memphis, Memphis crushed us.
Thankfully we have been able to right the ship and the year wasn't the train wreck it appeared it was going to be after that game.

Agree. I still think Memphis is a good team and might win if played today, but it will not be the beat down. Funny how UC fans are not giving the coaching staff any credit for the turn around. I believe TT is a great coach and next year the team is going to be tough to beat. yes...UC has done a great job turning the season around. If you would have told me we would be at 6-3 at this point in the year after the Memphis loss I would have laughed at you.

I don't. It could a been worse. 41-14. Ending the game on a 14 min drive of all running plays and victory formation at the 5
Complete total domination.

I think CTT is an excellent in game coach, despite the option call against ECU. He makes nice in game adjustments especially on defense. My issue is off season preparation. Two straight years he begins the season and does not have a grasp on player abilities. Last year he begins the year with a pro style offense with a 160 pound running back getting the bulk of the carries between the tackles. When he realizes the personnel was designed for a spread offense, the offense takes off and sets records. After another long break, the team (especially the special teams) seems very unprepared for the bowl game. This year the defense seemed dreadfully unprepared. We had players in the secondary that could not cover anyone. In the coaches defense, this year we did have the scheduling quirk(two buys to begin the season) and a new defensive coordinator, but I will melt down if the same thing happens in the bowl.
