I'm no doctor, but I don't think it's medically advisable to attempt to sleep on a bearcat. Heard that they don't like that. Violence could ensue.

You guys still don't play no defense. Same result if you played us again.

The defense is MUCH better than when UC played Memphis. Doesn't mean UC would win, but it certainly would be a MUCH better game.
That being said, the better team that day won, so UC has to keep winning and hope Memphis stumbles down the road.

This board wasn't the only one worried. A lot of UC fans were worried, including me. And there are still games for everyone left to play, so anything can happen (even for Memphis).

We would score more. Not sure if we would win. Defense is getting better and ECU has much better offense than Memphis. We got lucky to get out of the game with a win. (11-14-2014 11:38 AM)Ramen_Tiger Wrote: You guys still don't play no defense. Same result if you played us again.

Dont worry...Memphis isnt use to this like UC is. Cincy has won or shared what five of the last six conference titles. I'm confident Memphis will blow it.

Cincinnati fans are praying that Memphis wets the bed this Saturday and loses to Tulane. That would put them in first and in control of their own destiny.
The USF and UConn games are home games, so this Saturday is the final "road trap game" that they have to endure.

ECU got at least 17 points thanks to turnovers by WRs (literally getting hit in the chest with the ball and missing it allowing for 2 interceptions) and the going for it on 4th down late in the game. Take those away and UC's defense looks a LOT better, especially against a high octane ECU offense.

Memphis doesn't have to blow it. There are no tiebreakers. Bearcats win at least a share of the conference title if they win out. I'd like to see UCF and Memphis lose to put an outright championship in play, but those things don't have to happen.

The simple fact that Memphis is anywhere near the top of the standings in football at this point in the season...much less TIED FOR FIRST, is thrilling to the majority of Tiger fans in a way that most of you will never fully understand.

If Tulane wins out - which would peg back Memphis, ECU, and Temple - would there be a permutation in which they would win a share of the spoils at 5-3 in AAC play?

*Ahem* it's "Roll Wave."
Gotta say, there really is parity in this conference, which is refreshing. If we can all continue to improve and be better next year together, we may be able to garner a little more respect. Maybe.

Same result? You mean you'd still be bitter at UC even after winning the game?

When I think of roll wave I think of a gentle wave rocking my boat. I think it needs to be amended to go big wave or something along that line lol
