I was at your glorified MAC HS stadium (CMU) in September...Cuse played name the score on your sorry ass team (something like 40-3). Your fans sucked too...they arrived late, no one cheered, the coeds were fugly and all the Fired Up Chips left in the 3rd Q.
BTW, GTFOH with your Buffalo Fantasy smack. UB will never take over Cuse in NY.
No one, and I mean no one gives a crap about UB outside a 10 mile ring of the college.

Florida. No state income tax. Beautiful weather.
I am a PA boy, so I am speaking from any bias. I have been to Watkins Glen and West Point. Glorious scenery and great grapes, but I won't want to reside in New York. Gas prices are ridiculous and your governor is a nutcase.

That explains a lot
Seriously though, NYC is the single most iconic city in the nation, and the ADK's > the Everglades, and it isn't close, and I haven't even touched CNY and WNY yet...

"NY is far and away the best state in the Union."- Said no one ever.
I'm guessing you don't talk to many people outside of the Memphis area very often.

Nice troll...but with MAC fans you never know if they are serious or not. They aren't a real smart bunch.

I was under the impression that ACC teams are highly unlikely to get on SNY because they have existing contracts with MSG & YES. The "they are not on SNY" talking point is stupid as F*** because it usually comes down to conference affiliation & competing networks.
2. Not talking as an SU fan here, I'm talking as a general college sports fan. The notion of discrediting helms, especially in basketball is absolutely ridiculous. Only a minority of fans may actually agree with this stance, but that minority represents the portion of fans who fully understand the various NC claims thoughout college sports history. Helms is incredibly accurate and is well respected due to it's reputation for being non-biased. There are dozens of other selectors from this time period and the general consensus is that it blew those other selectors away. Numerous CFB programs use helms as their primary claim to national titles. For example like Syracuse in basketball, Michigan, Alabama, Notre Dame, & USC use helms to make multiple national title claims in football. The NCAA even recognizes helms national titles.
Anyone who considers himself a true college basketball fan and thinks an NCAA tourny from an era where it was one team per conference, 8 teams total, and played second fiddle to the NIT, is unquestionably valid whereas the validity of a helms is questionable, needs to be punched in the face.
bring it on, meet you at sonic after school
(ps no one GAF...syralose, smh)
The irony of that coming from a Memphis fan is thick enough to cut with a knife.

Yes, we're so stupid we'd rather wallow in the mediocrity of our athletic teams rather than bandwagon to a school we never attended.

I have been to NYC. I really don't get the hype. The best part of the city was the Disney Store and St. Patrick Cathedral. Otherwise, it just felt like every other city.
Your back country is gorgeous and bought down Burgoyne.

NYC and London are the two greatest cities in the world. If you think NYC is no different than Milwaukee, you're a fool.

I have never travelled to London, but I feel qualified to judge New York City. It was a nice city, I would take any kids I might have there just to go, but I enjoyed more Boston and Philadelphia more.
