I disagree. Tommy's last year, although he did not win many games, the team was competitive in most games. If Fuente would have inherited Tommy's team versus Porter, the turnaround would have been quicker. Porter inherited a more talented team than Fuente.

Not true. Why do you think West ranted on the way out? No money was available to recruit with. The shelf was almost depleted during West's last years because most of the money was given to the Cal.

Porter was not head coaching material but these Seniors are his, including some red shirted Juniors.

Tommy screwed up when he fired JOE LEE DUNN four games into the season and when he did not play a healthy Dangelo in the utk game. Had Delo played we would have beat those chumps!

I was referring to TALENT. Having more bodies does not equate to having more talent or a better team. Just more meat for the wolves. SMH

Tommy talked pretty harshly about DeAngelo not wanting to play in that game. I thought that was stupid because DeAngelo did not need to worsen his injury late in his senior year and hurt his NFL future. Plus DeAngelo is the only one who actually knew what his ankle felt like.

We can't enjoy success...we must do so at the expense of

A) A coach that stuck around two years to long, but gave us everything he had for 7 years.

B) An alum that although clearly not ready for the job, suffered through admin lies sound familiar) and gave us everything he had.

No...lets bash away instead of looking at the positives of what CJF has done in a relatively short time.
