RE: KSU-Toledo
To show a little how important a center is also look at the game Tuesday. Theirs went down and the running game went with it. They moved a left tackle there and brought in a another tackle and they just were not the same. I don't agree that Holley is only a 3rd down back but I am partial to the Holley's. He put on 15lbs of muscle from last season and am curious of how much he gains this off season. PH says he is not looking for size but strength. He lifts as much or more than some of the OL. Don't believe that ask the strength and conditioning coach. Also if you could watch the game again and the others look at his blocking skills and QB protection. And to bring up the sore subject at QB. I still think that is where our problem is and it kind of showed Tuesday night. Hopefully Strock gets the start Wed. and we can all say why the hell wasn't he in there all season. That would be the quickest fix! Does anybody else think we are weak at CB?? By the way that Hunt is a stud running back!

I agree with you 100% and I also agree that everyone has the right to there opinon like someone else just posted. I also think Holley is more than a 3rd down back. He has come along way in his development and I also can't wait o see him next year. I too agree with you about the QB position and I have said that from day one. All Strock needs is some more game time experience and we will have a great QB. I also belive that we have some young talent that has not surfaced yet and I have my doubs that our head coach is the right coach for our team The next couple games are real important to him going into next year Now to thanksjim good try but not even close

I don't care to call out players, but I expected much, much more out of Najee Murray.

I do think one problem for the defense that we can fix is how much (long) the defense is on the field Our offense most of the time is 3 and out We have not had alot of long drives so that the defense can get some time on sidlines. I do beleave we can help there.

That's not really true. Our average TOP on the season is 29:15. So, on average, our opponents have the ball 45 seconds more than us. We're 7th of 13 MAC teams in TOP.

That doesn't explain my disappointment in Murray. The only impact he has on a game is that he's good for a drive-saving pass interference when we need a stop the most.

Maybe I'm putting too much weight on this factoid, but Murray transferred from Ohio st. I don't know what I should have expected, but I thought he would be an impact player and a potential all-conference selection. He's nowhere near either of those things.

RE: KSU-Toledo
I'll admit, I expected more from Murray too but we should keep in mind he's only a Sophomore and didn't have much game experience coming in then got hurt and missed some time early in the season. It's not like he was a start for OSU and we've had plenty of guys that could make OSU's roster in the past. I still think he'll be a nice player the next two years.
