How do you figure?
They will have only one conference loss. The same as everyone else still in the running.
You said it like ECU would be the outright Champs. The same can be said for UH, UCF, Memphis, and Cincy.

Doesn't matter who "wins" the conference. Nobody is going to the Access bowl. We are all going to sh1tty bowl games now. Enjoy.

On paper we would all be "champs" but ECU would get the best bowl. That was the point I was making.
We need ECU to lose a second game (not UCF) and beat UCF and for us to win it outright and for to win out to win the conference outright we need to win out.

Well said, it is a down year for the conference. It's probably for the best we won't get the Access Slot this year as our representative would probably get embarrassed on a national stage.
Did we (Memphis) get "embarrassed" @ UCLA (42-35), or @ Ole Miss (24-3) for that matter?

No....You didn't.
Eh, it's true. Last year's UCF or Louisville would have smoked all 5 of these teams. Not a great year for our conference. Hopefully we will be better next year.
Wait a minute. Last year's UCF team had to have a miracle catch by Warton to beat 2-10 Temple. This league is "on and given Saturday...".

No they wouldn't. This years Memphis team is so much better then last years and UCF had two score two TD's in a minute to win. Louisville had to win it at the end also. Ever thought that maybe this year the top 5 teams are fairly evenly matched?
Okay, you're right. Memphis is a juggernaut who happens to be a UCLA touchdown and a field goal, 3 Ole Miss touchdowns and a field goal, and a Houston touchdown away from being the national champions.
No, but there is more parody then last year. Last year was a 3 horse race, and now it is six.
There's also more parity.

I would have made the same mistake, but not the "then/than" one...

Good catch. Parody blinded me. It was like two penalties on the same play, where helmet to helmet crash leaves two players on the field writhing, while in another part of the field, a an offensive lineman grabs a jersey and gets called for holding.

Yeah, I thought about that last night but didn't feel like changing it. I was hoping no one noticed. Thanks, I feel stupid and must go have a good cry.

No, I wouldn't say either was an embarrassment. Ole Miss is a very good team. I'd call the Ole Miss loss more "non-competitive" or "not close" than an embarrassment. I stick by my statement that no one from the AAC is a great team this year. We've got a bunch of mediocre to somewhat decent teams at the top of the conference. There's no 2013 UCF or Louisville equivalent this year. I was hoping ECU would carry the mantle, but they failed like the rest of us. Houston, UCF, Memphis, UC, and ECU are all just okay teams this year. We'll all go to lower tier bowls and hopefully win some. None of us deserves a major bowl this year.

You didn't see us play at Ole Miss or the last thing you could say is non competitive. It was 7-3 in the 4th and they purposely added a garbage TD. We were about to tie it up and got intercepted in their 5 yard line.
