Anyway, Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who are you to complain about attendance

Are you a ******* complete idiot. I'm a Memphis Tiger fan embarrased by you fairweather hillbillies.

Not sure if you know this, but Memphis is flat and therefor there are no hillbillies.

Possibly the greatest thing I have ever read on here. 03-lmfao03-lmfao

"therefore, there are no hillbillies".... I can't stop laughing. That is GREAT. I love you....03-lmfao

Just shut up with your whining. If you were not there freezing your azz off then just shut up.

FU *******!!!!! It looked SO FUCKKKING COLD out there Jethro. What was it? 45 degrees. Oh my god you must have been dying.

I went to the Bears Giants game once where it was 7 degrees with 30 mile an hour wind. Put a coat on and wear some gloves.

Like I said if you want to complain about attendance for Memphis football show up instead of talking about the cubs and the ******* bears. Wind chill was 28 degrees for your information. WHO GIVES A **** ABOUT THE BEARS !I wouldn't walk across the street to watch that **** .

The attendance sucks when it's 72 degrees and sunny too. You're missing the point. Look up the definition of a FAIR WEATHER FAN. The key phrase is "FAIR WEATHER". 28 degree wind chill????? That's Indian Summer in Chicago. Admit it.......Memphians are FAIR WEATHER FANS. They always have been. It's not a great sports town. They think it is but its not. In fact its a lousy sports town. It was when I lived there. They'll follow a winner. Never a loser.

Not many people follow a loser no matter what you say. There are always exceptions to the rule . I wont tell you what its like in Chicago or Vegas but on Halloween 2014 at the liberty bowl the Memphis Tigers(not a pro team or even a sec team) won a football game on a cold azz evening in front of a decent crowd considering the holiday and the weather(I don't care how cold it is in Chicago ) .

Much like Chi, I didn't go. I live in NYC. I watched in a bar in Brooklyn and everyone was wondering why I was screaming when the ball was out of bounds during the Bulls/Cavs game.

My GF and I discussed the attendance and we thought it was light and a bit of a bummer, but it IS halloween and a Friday night. I'm going with that and celebrating a BIG win.

Who is with me?

I'm with you. You are a good Tiger fan.

Have you ever been to Chicago in the Spring?????????????? When its 38 degrees out and the wind is blowing a gale????????????? They still fill the f'king shithole up.

You're saying wait until they win for a few years because they haven't won since 2006??????? Try waiting for a team that hasn't won since not 2006 but 1906. Think about it moron.

Actually, after 108 years, I think even I would give up. 03-lmfao

Well, this ain't Chicago. This is Memphis, Tennessee. Why don't you find a team to support like the Oregon Ducks who have filled their stadium for about 20 years straight, every single game. You can follow them from Chicago and see all those folks in the stands and you will be so happy. And all us hillbillies in Memphis, damn, Tennessee can all go back to enjoying our nice little win here on Halloween night.

Truthfully, I'm about there, but I haven't given up on Memphis.

Fans need to go to the game. Agree or disagree, but I believe the team was lackluster in the first half because of the lackluster support. 30 degrees is nothing. Curl up with your girlfriend, sneak in a flask and enjoy the festivities.

Its a special event. Those kids are busting their ass off for you. I go to UNLV games and I give a ****. I support them because this is my home now, but I have no vested interest other than that. It's my community and we should all cheer our team on together.

Go to the damn game MEMPHIANS!

I was there . YOUR fn crazy. 25,000 by the end of the 1st quarter. After halftime about 1/3 left. It was pretty damn cold so seem like a decent crowd considering it was Halloween . Don't be such a drama queen .

I agree. It's clearly an agenda when a couple of malcontent imbeciles who live in Dallas and Chicago (maybe?) question something they aren't even around. What a couple of brain dead morons. Attendance was easily what was listed, it looked like even more. Not bad by our past standards. The needle is moving in the right direction, even if a couple of distant moronic future lobotomy patients think otherwise.

Gimme a break. Regardless of where you live? I'm 1500 miles away from Memphis.

What's your neighbors excuse?

Chi-Town, with all due respect, how in the heck do you know what it was like in the Liberty Bowl tonight? Did it look that horrible to you on television? Dude, chill. It was really a fantastically fun night for all who attended, aside from being cold and windy. The tailgating was great, as always, and Bret Michaels was a blast. The Tiger Walks have had more people this year than ever. Everything fell into place nicely, even the fireworks after the touchdowns.

So, chill. We got this.

For the people that went there, God bless them. It's the 20,000 other fans that didn't show up I'm ragging on. This team is 5-3. No way there shouldn't have been at least 40k. Should have been 50K imo.

Looked and sounded awful on TV. It reminded me of one of the Southern California High school football telecasts. Except it wasn't as loud.

We actually have some solid crowds.

They're terrible. Beyond terrible. Memphis is good. UNLV is Larry Porter terrible.

Not to mention It's Las Vegas. We have a few things going on here on a Friday night Memphis doesn't quite have. Beale St is cute, but we're talking the Las Vegas Strip and then some.

We're also in the process of building two stadiums that will end up being the best arenas on the planet earth. One will be 25k capacity. Ground has been broken. The world of sports as you know it will be redefined here in Las Vegas.

Finally we will have a pro team. Looks like hockey first and then basketball. It looks like the world of sports has finally given in to the dark side of Las Vegas (tongue in cheek).

We deserve it and we will be great. Remember the stupid football league that had "He Hate Me". We drew over 30K a game.

We're a great market.

All I hear are excuses

Ok so what is the excuse for a bowl team getting 27K for a football game Billy.....Bob?

In a stadium that holds 63K.

RE: When I see a crowd like this
A big crowd tonight would have been amazing, anyone who expected it though is foolish. We're not big time yet... If I still lived in Memphis I probably would have missed this game as well. I would have been at the Eric Church concert or watching the Grizz game or doing the Halloween thing with my kids...
Call me a fair weather fan if you like, I'll completely obliterate your argument. I've been deployed all over the world and still find a way to follow games, I've listened to Wolo more times than I care to mention, but I still find a way to catch at least one game a year in person(basketball and football).

I want us to be big time more than anyone. I argue with fans of teams all over this great nation of ours, but we were the worst D1 team a few years ago. It takes time to cultivate a winning attitude, both with the team and the fans. We keep growing the way we are and we will be a force next year, making fun of people jumping on the bandwagon, I'm ready for it, and there is pretty of room.

Yeah and if Memphis had the population of Chicago there would have been 10 times as many fans last night! 270,000 fans in the LB. Bwaaaahaaaa!
