He did say "I'm embarrassed, the players are embarrassed and I know the fans are embarrassed".
He said they need to get more physical in practice.
He also said "we are not going to give up those long plays again - I'm tired of looking at it".

If he doesn't take away Hughes' play sheet, I'll vomit.

Talk is cheap. Get Hughes a box and have a severance agreement for him to sign at 8am Monday, then I'll be more willing to listen to what Tuberville has to say. So far, he's done nothing to change this situation. Everything is on the line right now with realignment, start acting like it, Tommy.

If TT thought this was going to be an easy gig to receive a few more wins, he was mistaken. UC might not be an SEC fanbase, however the seat can get just as hot.

On the positive side, we're going with gold helmets next week so we've got that to look forward to...

I keep thinking about the apology Tim Tebow made following the Gator's loss to Ole Miss in 2008. Here's a part of it:
"I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season."
Wouldn't it be nice if someone at UC, either a coach or a player, took the initiative to inspire excellence -- someone who was simply unwilling to accept defeat?
Where is that person? Who is that person?
Why isn't it Tubs?

I may be wrong, but I think it was a loss to Tubs at Auburn, not Ole Miss and BTW, Tebow was and is an a$$hat.

Well, you're half right. Tubs was indeed the coach at Auburn in 2008, but Auburn didn't hand Florida its only loss that year. Ole Miss did.
I'm not a Tebow fan by any stretch of the imagination, but the guy had a fire in his belly, he was a leader, and he brought out the best in his teammates. I wish we had someone with those attributes. In fact, I wish we had a bunch of guys with those attributes. And I wish we had a coach like Tebow played for, too -- someone who looks like he cares about winning, knows what it takes, and shows some damned intensity on the sidelines.

Tebow got a bunch of NFL players to actually give a damn about college ball because he was th eonly one of them not collecting a paycheck

RE: Tubs comments
Did Tubs think he could just come in here, win 6 or 7 games and we'd all be happy????? We have won 9 games or more what, 7 of the last 8 years. We have won more than Texas Tech during this time span. i know it was a P5 to G5 move but as far as programs go, we have won more than Texas Tech since 2007 and so he was moving up in terms of fan base expectations. He looks like he's in over his head.

Excellent Post. It'll be a cold day in hell before you EVER hear anyone say that again with the conviction that Tim had in that postgame. IMO it was The Greatest Postgame Address to Reporters that anyone in any sport has ever given and when he said that.....I Knew He Meant It. I wished we had just One Player that had heart like that young man - - even better if it was our QB but alas college players like Tim don't grow on trees.

He's a winner. He seems to do things the right way. Better than some entitled athlete who beats his wife and kids.

He could be a winner in the NFL, but he is too self centered and could not accept the fact that he was not a QB on that level.

All those who wanted him out of football have it. Instead we get Hardy, AP, and Rice.
