If you look at the Massey Composite ranking, which averages all the rankings out there (an astonishing 88 of them) Marshall sits at 21 while ECU is at 37. Last week they were right next to each other. I'm not saying the rankings are right or wrong, just that they moved a lot last week.
That was mostly due to our piss poor performance.

And our exceptionally strong one, on the road. We scored more points on, and gave up less points to, ODU than anyone else this season. That's not an easily accomplished thing 6 weeks into the season.

RE: Predict - Does Marshall crack the Top 25 tomorrow?
I heard some guys on a show called "The Experts" this morning talking about the new Top 25, and one of them mentioned Marshall getting in and being unbeaten, but one of his cohorts on the panel jumped right in and said "Let's not talk about Marshall..." He said it twice...What a dismissive, pompous b***ard! For what it's worth, though, congratulations on the ranking, some recognition, I guess is better than none...

Except it was expected, and it was expected for us to beat the snot out of SMU, and we didn't. ODU is still for all extensive purposes an FCS team. How much did you move up?

Yes, you're one year out bud. And yes I'm aware it's intents and purposes, was a joke that went over your head.
And probably not that funny...

We have to beat MTU by 21 or better or it won't help us get vites. Even though mtu is a good team, no one will give them or us credit. It seems many out there are going out of their way to discredit an undefeated (potentially) marshall. Even though its been done i think 6 times in history of the g5, and some schedules were as weak or weaker no doubt.
