Consider myself conservative, but every test I take says libertarian leaning conservative.

I think Obama should not have saluted, just nodded to the guard instead of doing the latte salute.

2. Expected from a guy that begrudgingly pays his parking tickets 17 years late.

2) He (and his staff) are careless to have been photographed like that, and that slovenly attitude is reflected in the past 6 years of his presidency. He simply doesn't really care enough to be bothered.

2. Eye roll worthy. Better things to bash him on. Past presidents didn't even salute until more recently. Bush dog saluted (did I miss that outrage). But to be fair, I wouldnt personally half ass salute. Summary: bash him over his real failures and not this please.

Like anything, better to do it right than half-ass it. Military deserves respect, as commander in chief he should know and follow military procedures

2. The fact that we as a society tolerate this sort of nonsense being portrayed as if it's actually news is a major factor of how we got to where we are today. I mean, holy hell, we're about to bomb the middle east again and that is what shows up on the news? It's not like he was meeting with a foreign dignitary or awarding someone the Medal of Honor, he was walking off a helicopter. It also is just yet another example of conservative media bias, as I never heard a peep over .

I always thought that we as a nation have far better things to expend energy on and pay attention to.

It reminds me of when they got angry for bowing to another leader. It's complete nonsense.

Political self-ID: constitutional conservative. Sort of a mix of Edmund Burke, Calvin Coolidge, and Richard Weaver. Stir in some of Barry Goldwater in his first two terms in the US Senate (1953-'65).

Latte salute: I've only seen that expression on this website and have no idea what it means. Yeah I'm old. Sue me.

Anarcho Capitalist/Freemarketeer/Classical Liberal.

Just another example of this POTUS having zero class and not even knowing it. Those around him also fit this bill. Otherwise? They would advise this moron what constitutes manners and protocol.
