Dude, that's bad Karma. UCF didn't embarass themselves.

Lets be clear, there are teams I love to watch lose. But I would savor stuff like this in silence. But its not like UCF was upset in a shocker. And you're a fan of a AAC school right? Why would you root for UCF to lose in a non-conference game?

Because he has a bit of old school to him. Back in the day a heated rivalry means more than conference love. We are talking about a USF fan wanting to watch UCF lose no matter what.

Ask a Michigan fan if they want Ohio State to win against Navy. Ask an Ohio State fan if they want Michigan to get embarrassed again at home against App State.

You don't ALWAYS support a fellow conference team in an OOC game.

I get that. But USF needs UCF to hold up the conference. His choice. Still think its' bad karma.

Its not like UCF lost to McNeese State by 30 points at home. They lost to Penn State by 2 at the last second on national television. Not much shame in that.

If UCF losing to Penn State on the last play of the game is smack worthy, then that means that UCF is really P5 material.

Just my $0.02

UCF looked good, maybe even better than Penn State in some areas. The room to trash talk doesn't come from UCF not looking good, it comes from them looking good and losing on a last second field goal.

That hurts just as much if not more than if they were to have been blown out by PSU.

Nobody is saying there is any shame in the way UCF lost. I just enjoyed seeing them lose and so expressed it in my post.

As for karma, I don't believe in it. Nor am i silly enough to think USF isn't going to have its moments of defeat this season as well, maybe even tonight.

But for now, I'm happy UCF lost! 04-cheers

The OP struck me as weird, but I get it. It's still strange to me wanting Georgetown to win OOC and in the Tournament "for the good of the league."

O tempora, o mores!

I don't think either team looked all that great, so I'm not going to talk smack about one and prop the other up. What I was most impressed by was the turn out in Ireland for two teams that none of the locals had any affiliation with. For what it was, it was a heck of a turn out. Kudos for that, I guess. I can kind of see now why the NFL's so damned interested in expanding their presence in Europe.

But what was up with those guys with pitch forks?

They were fixing the divots made by the players with their cleats.

Obviously, the game came down to the last second, so it wasn't a bad showing by UCF.

As a USF fan, I'm just very happy UCF didn't win another razor-close game they deserved to lose, like they did many times last season. Penn State dominated this game.

The dominated the 1st 1/2.

Quo is a well known @ss-clown on the AAC boards.

Jealousy is a sure sign of a fan who knows that his team is going to have a long and fruitless season and so has to dump on someone else in order to feel some measure of success.

Personally, I think USF will manage a few wins this season but will be crying as they watch UCF go to a bowl game while they start hoping for "next season."

I saw the game but your claim made me double check the stats to be sure.

Yep, PSU dominated the game.

Old school is right. With the playoff and SOS being a strong consideration, that could change when these teams play OOC games. Seeing one conference possibly putting in 2 teams while a team in another sit out could turn some heads with that train of thought.

Maybe you should rethink the whole karma thing.

Quo says he is a fan of USF I have not heard too much about beating Wisconsin, or anybody else, for that matter from him. Show me the fan, Quo. By the way, I am pulling for USF in their OOC games.
