We just beat Arsenal without 4 of our regular starting XI, including two of our top scorers... The Gunners are really in free fall mode. It was so bad we brought in a U21 guy who we bought off a Sweedish 2nd division side and he bossed.
5th place, only behind 4th place West Ham on Goal Difference heading into the November International Break? I'll take that any day. Especially knowing that after we face Man City at the Etihad next, our only Top 6 teams left in the first round of matches are Struggling Liverpool and Tottenham.

Sturridge will be back after the break, so I wouldn't bank on us struggling too much longer. If anything, you were unlucky not to face us in the league over the past few weeks.

Eh, but that match is also on Dec 28th, and both teams will be on only 36 or so hours of rest after the Boxing Day matches. There will be a lot of lineup changes between those two days.
Plus, Never underestimate the power of Brendan Rodgers to screw up a good thing.

What I love the best is when there are one or two take on's, then a nut meg, the increased intensity of his.. "Aaa.. AAAAaaa... AAAAAAGHGIWEHGWEHGIWHGWGHIWGHWEHG!!!!!!"

Fox Sports needs to steal Ray Hudson away for their coverage. Hearing him call the World Cup, Bundsliga, and possibly MLS would be fantastic!
After watching how impressively he changed the dynamics if the Dutch offense in the WC, it would be REALLY fun to watch him opposite Sterling and Sturbridge at the top of the LFC 4-3-3.

National Team continues to struggle in the 2nd half. Loses to Colombia on a late goal 2-1. That's a big issue that has to be fixed. Losing to Colombia isn't some crazy big deal, it was their A side against a whole bunch of young players on our side, but those players have to be able to maintain some possession and at least threaten opposing teams. We cant rely on defending and goalkeeping to save us every single match.

I didn't watch (lol international friendlies), so I don't know what 11 Columbia trotted out, but losing 2-1 should be considered a win. Columbia is filthy.

It was essentially their entire starting XI for the World Cup. Only had one player out hurt, and he missed the World Cup as it was.
Lot of our 23 man World cup roster in there, but not exactly our A side with Demspey and Bradley unavailable, and Jones and Yedlin having to play today so they can return to New England and Seattle for the playoffs.
