Dossbig,

If you are going to take the time to quote an entire conversation, you really should add your own thoughts to the subject.

That's funny.

This group could be the best in a very long time.

I think he did he just added into QSEC post took me awhile to figure it out.

[/b]Paul Brown supposedly said "Greg was the most talented QB I ever had". That is huge praise considering he had HOF QB Otto Graham amongst others.

I didn't see that and I thought when someone posted, their screen name appeared for attribution. No? Not correct?

Nothing wrong with comparing physical tools.

Chad Plummer had an arm too....just sayin'

Plummer was a fool. Should have taken the FSU offer and played WR, would have had 10 year career in the nfl. Colts brought him in as a WR.

no arguments about Plummer...yes he should have gone to FSU as a WR. My point is, he had a big arm but wasn't a great qb. Just because Kiel has a big arm doesn't mean anything right now. Let's see how he does in real college games first. I will remain reserved until I see the kid in live action. I hope he's as good as you guys are making I'm out to be!

Pike was called a non BCS QB on this board, funny looking back at that.

yup I do recall that

I remember before he started thinking..."good lord, how good is this kid gonna be?" but I remember a few people saying he looked good in practice and had a good arm. Glad they were right!

You're probably right, but the reason is that we heard good things about the line last year at this time and it didn't show up. There were some good reasons for it, but one way or another the line was a big problem last year after being hyped.

The line last year was decimated due to injuries.

Subflea mentioned it but they were banged up the entire season coming out of fall camp. First of all we had to start a RS Frosh (Bond) at Center because the returning center went down for the year. Bond did a very good job and that is why he is on the Rimington Watch List there but it is usually never good to start a freshman on the OL, let alone at center. The other four guys either played with (in some cases) serious injuries throughout the season while others missed time.

At the Belk Bowl we were without both Bujnoch and Sam Longo and had to play a couple guys out of position. As a result a very strong North Carolina defensive line was pinning their ears back and putting all kinds of pressure on the offense and creating havoc.
