That's a good thing, isn't it? About time some of the Texas schools acted like they don't like each other and are actually rivals, instead of rooting for each other. I've never understood this business of calling another team your rival and then rooting for them. I wouldn't root for Stanford in anything no matter what; Michigan fans don't root for Ohio State; UNC fans don't root for Duke, and that's how it should be.

Not trolling at all bear. I remember what happened when baylor was almost left playing smu as a conference rival.
Despite 5k less seats to sell, I congratulate the Baylor faithful for stepping up to make sure the tarp is semi-retired until Art leaves.

Pony--- hey bud. How are things? Rejected by Baylor? Nahhh-- there is a reason baylor, tcu and smu are small----- people don't want to pay for an overpriced education.
Anyways, according to that link I posted earlier, the Baylor AD is letting Scott Drew decide whether he wants to play the Aggies so this little misunderstanding may be a non-issue.
Good luck this season.

For the most part, I think all fans of Texas schools dislike each other. We aren't about to go Auburn-Alabama on folks but we have plenty of hatred for each other. No one in the Big 12 wants to see aggy do well and I think most fans are pissed that baylor might break down and play the aggies.

The waiting list for season tickets is over 5k IIRC.
Have fun with your attendance smack, I will enjoy the fact that my school has won a league title and has dominated Tech across the board in the big sports for the last 3 years.

It took Baylor being on the cusp of a Big 12 title to remove the tarp and now they have a waiting list?
http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/...s-big-game
Tech has hired coaches that will fix the mistakes that our previous AD made and we are looking towards the future which means losing to Baylor will be unacceptable. Remind me what the Baylor baseball team is doing right now? Remind me what P5 champion lost to a G5 school in their bowl game?
Congrats on that 3 year run. I hope all Baylor fans remember and cherish that little moment in their history but we have bigger goals. Wish us luck in the World Series

21-5 since fall 2011 in the 4 biggest sports. 15-1 without baseball.
Get used to it.

Much props to 1845 for beating his head against a brick wall. . . Good luck with the rest of the thread
