RE: CUSA Basketball Transfers
Your header says CUSA basketball transfers, not CUSA basketball players who say they may not be back. What's odd is the second link you give credits Goodman as the source and links back to your first link, which doesn't list Canty.
Canty sat out last season, my guess is he doesn't want to really sit out next season. If we hire someone he thinks he can play for then he'll probably stay.
Don't know why you would start this thread anyway, your school is done with CUSA basketball.

Sounds like those guys were on their way out regardless of the coaching situation. Braun's recruits always had an absurd attrition rate, so it was really no surprise to me.
How's this going to affect your APR and do you see a possible postseason ban similar to FIU this past year?

As long as a player has a 2.0 when he leaves school it will not affect your APR

we were told 2.6 by someone close to the athletic department yesterday when we asked this question regarding one of our transfers.

As others have mentioned, it depends on each specific player's academic situation. So far it hasn't hurt us -- our most recent APR is 980 for the 2008-2012 frame. I'm not making any prediction on the newer numbers, though.

No. You are crazy because I have already posted this link in the thread. But here it is again:
2.7 PG Kareem Canty RS FR 6-1 180 Marshall Jeff Goodman, ESPN - See more at: http://www.verbalcommits.com/transfers/2...hrVnB.dpuf
http://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/marshall
And here it is from my earlier post in this thread showing the same thing:
http://csnbbs.com/thread-684483-post-106...id10629742
And then you started rambling about nonsense that has nothing to do with this thread. That is what makes you crazy.

as to why you are still posting here? Oh wait, it's because ECU is still in the conference although most of you ECU posters loathe the conference. How do you still post on the messageboard of a conference you loathe?
Like you told me on the AAC board, "you have apparently lost your way again. Now run along back to the CUSA board." Now you should take your own advice and run along back the AAC board.

You don't know me and furthermore, you should know what nonsense is all about. I can't even post on the AAC board unless you are popping off at the mouth about nonsense.
And use a damn comma after my name since you want to be a smartazz smartazz.

You can't post on the AAC board, because you add nothing to any conversation except smartazz remarks. You do the same thing here Rod. So stop ruining threads.

I appreciate the list Marv. I never understood people who had problems with useful threads. I'm also interested to see if anyone transfers in to C-USA schools.
I think FIU using Frink will hurt them. They are losing three of their top four players. Obi from Rice will be a good player for someone. Interested to see where he ends up. Obviously Canty too if he leaves Marshall.

RE: CUSA Basketball Transfers
One incoming transfer is listed. Jalen Steele is a mid-year transfer from Mississippi State to MTSU. He's a 6-3 guard who was averaging 10 ppg before he left. I'm not sure when he will be eligible to play. Maybe an MTSU fan can help me out there?

I think that he might be eligible right away, because I think that he might be a graduate.

Look at my recruiting thread and you'll see transfers that are eligible to play THIS season in CUSA.
http://csnbbs.com/thread-683349.html
Once transfers are mostly concluded, I'll create a new one for transfers that will be eligible next season.
