As for AB, he certainly had some crazy good games at UM. But would he have been good enough to have made a difference with this team?
As for the "flop," I think it was. He may have been nicked, but not enough to warrant the reaction he gave. And, I think his reaction to Wilbekin said it all. But a heady basketball play, because it worked.

In addition, in his time in the SEC tournament, he's been ineffective. I always liked Antonio, and I really hoped he'd light it up at Tennessee. Hasn't happened. But I'm glad he got the opportunity-he wasn't going to get it here.

Yeah, yeah. Standard response. But nothing wrong with anyone asking the question and discussing it.

Yep.
You know who we don't miss, per threads?
Adonis.
I never see anybody asking "What would this team be like if Adonis were on it?:

We'd have someone capable of guarding a real 3, that's for sure.

Still think that AB got a raw deal from freshman year...in and out of love with CJP...played JJ even though AB had better control...especially as a freshman and Soph

Barton's other offers out of high school were not impressive, as I recall. IMO, he was lucky to land with Memphis.

And we were lucky to have him. We probably would have had 3 or 4 additional losses that year without him.
