True words^^

Bilas used to praise Charlotte, but not so much anymore since Lutz was canned.
He and Lutz were golf buddies weren't they?

They were buddies somehow. Didn't hurt they both were in Charlotte. Not sure I've heard Bilas say anything good about Charlotte bball since Lutz left. Of course, I don't watch a lot of ESPN so I may be mistaken.

Perspective is a funny thing. I think of Tennessee as not being oversaturated with major universities. UT-Knoxville, U of Memphis, and I guess MTSU these days. That seems like it to me.

I was sure you were referring to Wichita being called a 'big city'...

It is bigger than I thought. I thought Wichita was like 150,000 people. I was way off.

And to be clear, I graduated from Wichita Southeast HS, I'm not knocking the city. Just wouldn't describe it as a "big city"...

I don't recall Bilas saying much either way negative nor positive about Charlotte since Lutz left. Apathy can be worse than hate or love. Networking like Lutz did is part of the game and that is one our weakness at this time.

RE: Wichita St.
I've been to Wichita. Only once for about two months for Flight Training Detachment (school for aircraft mechanics learning about the F-105), and it is ccccooooolllllldddd there. Poor guys that had to work there on the flightline I felt for them. I never got to see anything but the base, my car's radiator froze and it was a miracle that I was able to drive it home after the school.
