Your being kind.

TWSC did a piece on Darren Goodson's shot to beat Akron. To be fair, TWSC always features the hometeam at halftime of their broadcasts. Also to be fair, while the shot by Goodson was awesome, the team is hovering around .500 and that win seems like eons ago.

Ok gotcha. Good, positive publicity for our team from the TV home of the MAC is nonsense. Cool.

+1 and Points taken.

My opinion of the halftime piece probably warranted a deeper response than "nonsense." But like many in game responses it was knee jerk. For me, though, trying to sell that win over Akron as monumental doesn't fly. The spot that was aired was eye roller in my opinion.

I dunno partner I think beating your rival at the buzzer on a shot like that - while perhaps not monumental - was and will be a major highlight for the KSU brand this year and will be remembered by both sides for a while.

Plus I am sure TW didnt give us much advance notice that they needed something to air at half and so we likely just gave them something we had "in the can" as opposed to going out and producing a long 3-4 minute package.
