The Chips come to the MAC Center with one conference win and are in a battle with Ball State at the bottom of the conference. CMU outlasted the Flashes in Mount Pleasant last week before falling to Buffalo and NIU. It would be nice to see a beatdown from start to finish.

The Golden Flashes still have positioning to play for and wins can be a cure all. The most loyal of fans should also keep an eye on the following games:

Miami @ Western Michigan
NIU @ Akron
EMU vs. Toledo

The three teams in bold are still well within KSU's reach.

In other words, it's going to be a nail-biter. :/
Who's gonna hit the game-winning three Saturday?

I'm going with Tyler Scott.
Better chance of seeing Mike Scott hit it than Tyler Scott.
I wonder who the best shooter in the program currently is, including coaches.

Dave C., inquiring minds want to know! (I'd be interested to know how many coaches would CLAIM to be that shooter.) 03-wink

They all would!

Well, I made five 3's in a row shooting yesterday afternoon ... But then challenged Q (Haminn Quaintance was in town to work out after practice) to a quick three-point contest. Best of three. He promptly drilled 2-of-3, and I banged all three back of the rim. So it isn't me. Of course, I was wearing a pair of black Skechers, so I have an excuse.

Eric Haut, DeAndre Haynes and Mike McKee can all still fill it up from the outside.
Vegas still has faith. KSU 8.5 favorites.

Here we go Flashies...

Derek Jackson back into the starting lineup tonight along with the three sophs and Goody. Tabb still out.
Mr. Morgan, Mr. Reghi and Mr. Howie will be joining us tonight as we continue our Valentines Celebration. The Captain says Kent State 70 CMU 57
Nice seeing Henni play well in the post so far
Maybe we can blow out a bad team at home for once.
As long as they don't fall in love with the three, i think it could be a blowout.
Halftime Nonsense. If you are watching, you know what I mean.
And they let them right back into the game.

This + sloppy turnovers = 03-banghead
Ugly on many accounts. But.....Ortiz looked good and I agree about Henny.

On a side note, Reghi was off his game tonight. Lets hope he fights off this cold and gets back into form by Wednesday. The only thing I liked about it was that he seemed to approach KSU with a glass half full mentality.

Good win.
Nice to see Ortiz have such a breakout game. Hopefully he has many more games like this one in the next 2+ seasons.
A little rough early in the second but overall one of there better games in awhile. Five in double figures was a positive.
