I tried to head up, but the roads (even the highways) here in Cleveland were so bad this morning I had to turn around and come home. I know quite a few Ohio fans who had planned on making the trip and had to back out.

Apparently the snow has stopped in SE MI.

Its a shame but the weather will probably hold down the crowd.

I think we needed decent weather to get a half decent crowd.

don't understand EMU's promo t shirt- white shirt with "Beat Ohio" across the chest with big Ohio logo w/line through it. No mention of EMU. at first glance looks like an Ohio shirt.

58-56 Ohio over EMU after being down 12 late second half. Ohio starts the game 14-54 from the field, ends 6-6 to steal a victory in Ypsi. They held EMU to 1 point in the last 4:20 of the game. I watched it, but still don't know how they pulled that one out.

Ohio was non-existent for 36 minutes then decided to show up the last four minutes and won the game. Guess this makes up for dropping a home game to BGSU. EMU a good team, but they haven't been in too many big games. Ohio has been in these type of games. Kellogg is a money player. Kellogg, Hall and Smith all key players on the sweet sixteen team. Those guys been in pressure games before.

Close games is the term you were looking for. I'd say that their out of conference schedule trumps any other team in the MAC.

emu hasn't played many close games. mostly easy wins or double digit losses. ou seems to play everyone pretty close regardless of how good or bad they are.

of EMU's 8 losses only 3 are outside the RPI top 100- Akron(101), Purdue(106) and Buffalo(134). Buffalo was top 100 until loss to BSU and Akron and Purdue are on the edge so no real bad losses for the Eagles, but unfortunately just 1 win in RPI top 100, vs Green Bay (48).

Ohio moves to 4-2 vs top 100.

Looked like a decent student turnout for EMU in spite of the weather.

Buffalo continuing its sleep walking from the Ball State game. NIU out to an early lead.

Helluva game in DeKalb. 48-48 under 12:00.

my bad, I thought that was at Muncie for some reason. so 3-0 and 1-2.

Miami with the 70-65 win at BUGS tonight. We're now sitting at 4-2, already topping last year's MAC win total. Big game coming up against Toledo in Oxford, would be huge if we could pull that off.

Miami is a different team with Moore and Edwards playing. Moore still shooting poorly from field, but was something like 10-10 from the charity stripe tonight.
