That stint at FAU was solely to give him a job when he was let go from Louisville. Schnellenberger was his coach at Louisville.

I was hopeful he would be named our HC in waiting to take over when Howard was done but it was not meant to be. He would be a good fit for WKU.

He'll be a damn good one. His time at UAB was impacting, yet all too brief. Looking forward to playing them when they become card-carrying Conference USA members.
