Oh believe me, WKU fans were fully aware we'd be lucky to have him for more than a year or two. Some had hoped for maybe 2 or 3 years. The Louisville thing is not a done deal yet, that I'm aware but we all knew that should the Louisville position open this year that Petrino would be at or near the top of their list.

Thankfully, our AD developed a contract with Petrino that should he leave after this first year, he'd pay us back not only his salary for this year but also a few hundred thousand extra.

I was thinking two years myself, but just one year doesn't surprise me that much. IF this turns out to be true, WKU will make $350K the way the contract was structured.

Have you seen our volleyball players (a Top 25 program btw)? There are some hotties on that team. I imagine Petrino "peaked" in on some of their games. LOL They're intelligent girls so I doubt they took any Harley rides though.

I doubt you could structure such a clause in football anymore...not without a buyout in it that the new school would certainly pay.

If we get Brohm, my money is we'll keep most of them but lose some verbals. Brohm evidently has been instrumental in the recruiting of this class. At least that's the scuttlebutt.

I heard that Petrino told some of his assistants NOT to buy a home when they came to WKU. They wouldn't be there long enough.
