we knew you'd show up eventually with your stats... oh and you did just like we predicted. You are the running joke on the board expect to get mocked in every basketball thread until you and ECU moves to the ACK board and maybe even after.
I don't have an issue with him. At least he provides stats for his arguments rather than many people who just post an opinion related post and expect it to be taken as gospel. You have to appreciate that.
problem is, he just manipulates and misinterprets statistics to make his argument
So provide an example
Kind of hard to go through all the posts you make on all the basketball threads.

lol. Honestly, looking at our numbers we don't really have a standout who should be on it.
So in that case, Tyndall should be coach of the year?

If what he said was true, you'd think he could come up with one measly example

Aaron Bacote 6-4 SO at ODU is third in the league in scoring, has made the most free throw's and plays half the game at point guard because of ODU's struggles with the ball for the team ranked dead last in CUSA scoring.
He's scored nearly 30 percent of ODU's points. I don't know enough about the rest of the league but if we are going strictly on value to a team, he's as valuable to ODU as anyone.

Marshall & ECU have been in a conference together for awhile and many of us have been on this board before that. I'm quite familiar with him as we've had our own arguments. I'm just saying at least he provides something of substance that can be debated whether it's twisted for arguments sake or whatever the reason. Many times stuff is just thrown out there with no real backing. Most recently in the past 2 years the move to the AAC caused MANY to lose their minds and post all kinds of nonsense.

CUSA player of the weeks and Freshman of the week honors denoted below... take that for what its worth. Frazier earned Player of the OOC season because he earned 2 player of the week honors it seems.
G: Chad Frazier (UAB) POTW 2x
G: Kareem Canty (Marshall) FOTW 3x
G: Jonathan Stark (Tulane) FOTW 1x POTW 1x
F: Tymell Murphy (Florida International)
F: Rakeem Buckles (Florida International) POTW 1x

Against Troy he had 10 on 9 shots, Alabama A&M he had 7 on 14 shots, and LSU 15 on 16 shots. He's been all over the place at times, but as a JUCO transfer I have been pretty impressed overall, minus the high turnovers. There is still a full conference slate ahead, so there is plenty of time for things to change, but he has carried this team at times without a doubt.
As far as Hamilton, I don't know a ton about him, but he has a really high FG%, especially when compared to last year. I have no clue how he plays, but is that number sustainable for a guard? That is part of the reason his PER is so high I'm sure. Murphy is a solid player, but I'm not sure FIU is even going to finish in the top half of the league, and you know how POY voting normally goes.
Here's a little bit.

Tech guard play is our strength. When someone is having a rough night shooting, they make up for it in assists.
