And you think I care what you say? That punk's actions put a black eye on your program today. Of course you don't seem to care.
You weren't on the field and you have no idea what Navy was doing. You sit on your couch and think you have it all figured out. Go get some donuts and beer and keep quiet.
At least your coach saw and realized the truth after seeing the video. He made a lengthy apology. As I said, #33 is a punk and a thug. Just ask your coach. Now you keep living in denial and defending the thug. Makes you look real smart.

I didn't see the play, but was it worse than chanting "where's your green card?"

Are you seriously comparing an action that could have blinded a young man for the rest of his life to a small group of people saying something stupid and embarrassing?
brainless sh*t like this just annoys the hell out of me.

Those footballers are too dang violent eh?
The only comparison is that there we're cameras present.
I was just tweaking the judgmental eagle that started this.
But yes, I think the racist actions of a group are a hell of a lot worse than an individual football player getting too rough.

it wasn't action. it was words. you're intentionally (and dishonestly) trying to make it sound like more than it really was because you realize that you just said something stupid.
you're also confusing racism (the belief in race based inferiority) with racial ugliness, but that is one of the smaller of your numerous mistakes in that wrong headed post.
there isn't a law against saying something stupid and offensive -- in fact, there are laws against having laws against saying something stupid and offensive -- and there are tons of really good reasons for that.

Not going to argue this any further, but when your band chanted that on national tv, you embarrassed every team in the league.
The Middle Tn player only shamed himself.

you're not going to argue this any further because you have (unintentionally, I suspect) staked out an indefensible position, and you know you'll get obliterated.
you obviously didn't watch the game. the only place in the country that that kid wouldn't be arrested for assault for what he did is on a football field. and he did it against navy. you may remember navy. they're the guys that accept the responsibility for protecting the rest of us as soon as they graduate. army and navy are nationally adored teams. the announcers went wild, and it's entirely fitting and proper that they did.
you're just wrong on this, and on top of that, you're wrong for the wrong reasons. you're wrong because you're too afraid to question the tyranny of tolerance that rules our (what passes for) contemporary culture and political discourse.

That wasn't racist. "American citizen" and "foreigner" aren't races so asking someone born in another country "where's your green card" is not a "racist" act.

That was immeasurably stupid, however, even if you don't view it as racist.
He is an American citizen, and he was born in the United States. In case you didn't know, Puerto Rico is part of the United States...

I don't disagree that it was stupid, especially since PR is part of the US. I was just pointing out that asking him where his green card was was not "racist", because having or not having a green card is not a racial issue.
