Go Redhawks! Third in hockey and First in football!
And only have to turn the paper upside down in one of those.

sure lets pretend Ohio isn't 6-3 with wins over 2 bowl eligible teams and put them behind a team thats 3-6 because, why not.

Minor point but OU should probably be above CMU based on "totality" of work (i.e. the entire season, not one game).

RE: MAC FOOTBALL RANKINGS
Toledo ahead of Buffalo? Justify that please, thanks.
Buffalo is undefeated in the league and have beaten those teams by 28, 33, 29, 20 and 27 points respectively.
Granted, it's not the toughest schedule, but OU was a big win and they are still getting it done against the others.
I guess we'll know for sure in a couple days!

I could go either way on Toledo / Buffalo...
Both teams lost OOC games but Toledo in conference losses have been to powers. I think the game hinges on Flu..

I think Buffalo-Toledo will be an excellent game but after seeing Buffalo completely stymy the Ohio offense i was impressed.

Not bothered by that. The poll is arranged into tiers, so what OP is essentially saying is "too close to call", and the head to head will bear it out.

I thought that at first too, but in that case you should normally alphabetize each section.
Like I said...it's close and we'll know for sure tomorrow...but hard to knock an undefeated team down a peg over someone with a loss.

Well Buffalo would have to lose tomorrow for that to be realistic so lets hope not!

I'd flip UMass and WMU. They won head to head, therefore they deserve to be ranked higher IMO.

RE: MAC FOOTBALL RANKINGS
CMU has lost to Toledo, BSU, and NIU in conference, that is why I do think they are better an OU. They have won their games vs. other competitive or worse teams in the conference. All opinion still. If CMU loses again I would put OU ahead, but if OU ends 7-5, and CMU 6-6 I am giving the nod to CMU.
As far as Toledo and Buffalo goes, we will find out tomorrow. Toledo has decimated its common opponents with Buffalo just as badly. Buffalo beat EMU 42-14. Toledo beat EMU 55-17. Buffalo beat WMU 33-0. Toledo beat WMU 47-20.
