Mickey refuses to let the Blue Devils do what they do best, run. With multiple 3rd and long situations, Sage Harold starts of the year with multiple sacks on his way to a double digit total for 2013.
O'Cain keeps the leash on Birdsong because Mickey gives him the ol' Stink-eye after going 3 and out too many times.The Dukes' O-line is just too much and they maul CCSU with relative ease.

With that being said, DQ with 10000 rushing yards and the mercy rule goes in effect by half time.

The stadium will be 75% full at kickoff and 50% midway thru the 3rd.

I'm with you, actually. I think we use this game as a way to work through some kinks in the new offense. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 28-7 or 28-14 game that isn't as close as that.

And I'm not trying to be pessimistic or anything. I'd love to see our first team get up 21-0, 28-0 by the end of the first half or early second half. Once the game is "in-hand", get Birdsong and DQ out of there and let's see what else we have on offense. If the answer is "nothing", then so be it. No point in losing anyone important.

Hoping for a feel good thrashing to start off the year but I think the end result will yield a more conservative score. I'll say 27-6.

More important than the final score (so long as the Dukes get the W, of course) is that there are no injuries!
