Austin brown just had a good drive with the ones. Ended with a bullet pass to Darius Powell that hit him in stride for a 25 yard TD

JP responded with a TD drive of his own, ended with a 4 yard strike to Bud Pruitt.

U mention lots of TD drives. The pessimist is me wonders if we have the same old defense?

Staples and Howard haven't looked like freshmen.

D had 4-5 sacks and an int. Some big hits too

Troy will let us know if the D really has improved or not.
I hope that McGee doesn't get so stuck in his way that if Brown is stinking it up, he will put in JP. But who knows.

I don't recognize all the names from scholarship lists, but I'm glad to see them coming to try to become part of the Blazer nation and to try on the green and gold for size. The more we can assay for value for this season, the more likely to find that hidden nugget or diamond in the rough among them for the future.

He seemed very elusive. Sort of a change if pace back.

Ahhhhh, I was thinking that 58 snapping this preseason was Banks, the LB from Minor, but I guess it was Noriega all along.
