New Mexico-Memphis AAC
UNLV-Connecticut MWC
Colorado State-Cincinnati AAC
San Diego State-Temple MWC
Boise State-East Carolina MWC
Air Force-UCF Equal
Utah State-Tulsa MWC
Fresno State-Houston MWC
Wyoming-Tulane MWC
Nevada-Southern Methodist AAC
San Jose State-South Florida AAC
Overall, yes the MWC is better than the AAC.
AAC in the last 10 years:
UConn: 2 national titles, 3 Final Fours, 4 Sweet Sixteens, 7 NCAA's
Memphis: 1 Final Four, 4 Sweet Sixteens, 8 NCAAs, one of each vacated
Cincinatti: 1 Sweet Sixteen, 5 NCAAs
Temple: 6 NCAAs
USF and Houston have made the tournament. UCF made it twice.
Tulane, SMU, Tulsa, ECU: Nothing.
So, 2 NC, 4 FF, 9 S16, 30 NCAAs in the last 10 years.
MWC in the last ten years:
UNLV 1 Sweet Sixteen, 6 NCAAs
SDSU 1 Sweet Sixteen, 5 NCAAs
Nevada 1 Sweet Sixteen, 4 NCAAs
Utah State 5 NCAAs
UNM 4 NCAAs
Boise State 2 NCAAs
Air Force 2 NCAAs
CSU 1 NCAA
Fresno, SJSU, Wyoming--nothing
So 3 S16, 29 NCAAs in the last ten years. Can't say the MWC is really much deeper--AAC has seven different schools in the tournament in the last ten years, MWC has 8.
